COVID-19 Safety Protocols
HOPE Centre

Eagles Nest places a high priority on the health and safety of our clients, volunteers, and employees. During this time Eagles Nest encourages individuals to safely connect to our services through virtual options. When a virtual option is not possible, there may be an option to receive in-person services.

For all in-person services, there are safety protocols in place to help mitigate the risk of transmission of COVID-19:

  • All employees and volunteers are screened for symptoms of COVID-19 immediately upon entry
  • High touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected frequently
  • The HOPE Centre is only accessed by individuals who have a scheduled appointment
  • Furniture has been arranged to accommodate physical distancing
  • Air purifiers are used throughout the building

When attending an appointment an individual will:

  • Complete a COVID-19 screening prior to entering
  • Call the HOPE Centre office to notify staff of their arrival and wait for instructions when to enter
  • Wear a mask as required by the City of Hamilton
  • Sanitize or wash hands with soap and water when entering
  • Respect physical distancing
